Fuel cut launch control:

Spark retard launch control:

Spark retard is harder on turbo, but with it you can launch with more boost, and at a lower RPM so it's easier to slip the clutch and not spin.

Are you ok with using a spark retard? If so, I can find and post my old settings I ran.

I'm trying to do both. See my screenshot above. Big question is why was spark not at 1* and why did the 4K rev limit not kick in?

EDIT: but mostly fuel cut. Right now I'm mostly trying to get it to work. I won't know how hard I can launch until I get slicks and am at the track.

It appears the MS is not seeing the launch in pin change. It did not apply any settings that you told it to. I would guess a loose wire, or not wired up right. I went through log and tune and it should work, so I'd start with wiring. You can hit the clutch pedal with it idling and the LAUNCH button in TunerStudio should show it as active.

I'll try that in the morning. I'm thinking that since Flat Shift is working properly, the clutch switch must be creating the correct signal.

I got it now. I think the issue was that I had the throttle setting so high that I had to punch it. I am now at 25% TPS and it works as it is supposed to.

However. First gear is worthless with 195 ZII's. I will work on my clutch technique. Advice is welcomed.

Slip the clutch as much as needed to launch as hard as possible, but not spin. Set the revs high enough that if you let the clutch out too much, too fast, it spins, not boggs. Ideally it will spin a bit and then hook if you accidentally let the clutch out too fast. If it just blow the tires off, too much RPM for launch control. Or too little tire!
