Default MAP scaling

I've been digging around because it annoys me that the scale don't match with the VE and ignition tables. Both are 16x16 while the AFR table is 12x12. I know I can't make the AFR table match. I see a lot of other posts where IGN and AFR are 12x12 and VE is 16x16. Any reason why I can't rescale MY VE and IGN tables to be the same scale? Say 102-15 for Kpa and 600-7400rpm with the cells sorta interpolated in between with slightly bigger gaps in the low end ranges respectively. Then make the VE table the same outer limits with even cell changes in between. There is a post by Soviet on his thread page 2 with a rescaling download, but it doesn't work for me. I have my first track time instructed session tomorrow, so not messing with what runs today, but the lack of matching make my brain itch. I'm still essentially on the base IGN table, VE is mostly VEAL tune, and AFR is best guess from other naturally aspirated posts on the forum.

AFR doesn't need more resolution than 12x12, that's actually more than adequate, any more wastes space.

no reason you can make VE and Spark to match, but no real need either.

Yes, you can do that. If you click the origin button in the lower left it will even interpolate table data to your new values for you, as far as it can at least.

The 12x12 ignition tables you're seeing are probably off a MS2, us poor peasants are stuck there.

Don't waste your time trying to get them to match up for aesthetics' sake, get to sorting that VE table out.

12x12 is more than enough resolution in most cases. I think I want to rescale my MS3 to that resolution when I get it on the DYNO. So it's less time and less interpolation work.

Yeah it turns out I had a small vaccine leak pop up while the car sat for a week. Hose was loose. Now it idle like crap and surges everywhere even if i go way back in old times way before any leaks. I'm going to turn off the closed loop and just make it idle manually with the Skunk throttle And say **** it for now. I have no a/c or anything and I'm pulling my hair out with a track day tomorrow. Idled fine before.

By VE table sorting do you mean smoothing it? I'll try to add my tables to my build thread to avoid the thread jack of my own thread, or screw it it's my thread I'll do what I want.

Edit: I'm a dumbass. Apparently when my dad had the laptop yesteday in the effort to figure out the throttle surge stuff changed a bunch of settings and dint change them back. Idles happy again. . . . Well like it did before it lost its mind anyway.
