Megasquirt keeps failing
Your wheel decoder settings are very far off. I don't know if they were originally entered incorrectly or if you had some firmware corruption. I'd probably recommend flashing the firmware again just to be on the safe side, and then recreate your base map by hand. You can find the correct wheel decoder settings, if you need them, on our website under the 4G63 walk through.
Yes that is just at idle, did you see the log when I dident have this problem? Really appreciate your help, I have flashed the firmware 3 times now and the problem remains,

This may just be a coincidence but this problem has only started since I stated to use the auto tune feature on tunerstudio, also, when I get a difference report nearly all the info is missing (rpm, map kpa, choose ts settings etc, all the buttons are missing) this also happens when I try to save the tune, I tried it on a friends laptop - same thing, does anyone else get this?
Could it be that my MS processor is corrupted/knackard? I have reflashed the firmware and downloaded a fresh copy of TS - still got the problem.....

What version of tuner studio actually I was having a weird constant mismatch issue yesterday on v.992
but anyways, I think fixing your wheel decoder settings should solve it.

I'm on 0.992 but this fault started when it was first launched and I have just kept up with the updates, I thought it was my 2 laptops but I tried it at a friends house last night and the same thing happend when he connected to my ms with his laptop. Apart from the missing information, I generally get difference reports even when I know I have saved the tune.............

Hi Guys, I have just stripped my squirt down to check the 37 pin connector, I put a mutimeter (on 200k resistance) across all of the solder joints of the male connector and the other lead of the meter on all of the pins, I am getting reading on some of the solder joints from more than one pin. Is this my problem? should all 37 pins be osolated from each other?
Appreciate any help or advice......

With the mutimeter set on 200k and one of the leads on pin 19 (ground) I am getting the following readings on the following pins:
Pin 19 and 36 (brn/gry) = 2.3
Pin 19 and 31 (gn/w) = 2.3
Pin 19 and 28 (red) = 60.8
Pin 19 and 26 (gry) = 1.3
Pin 19 and 25 (bl/w) = 1.8
Pin 19 and 21(yel) = 3.8
Pin 19 and 20(orn) = 3.8
Is the above a fault, should there be no continuity at all between these pins?
Cheers guys,
Barry
