need help with software. for some reason i cant get the o29v to load up i extract it and all and nothing. is this the reason why im not getting a spark table in mega tune??. in setting also i did set it to ms extra and save it and set all the sensors. im just trying to get my lab top set up and talking to my box before i do the install.

help please..

I have no idea what you are talking about? You extracted 029v to where and how? You get everything but a spark table in Megatune? Sorry to say it but it seems like you are hopelessly lost man ... I cant even follow your post.

are you looking for edit-settings.bat and don't see it? You can get that file in the hi-res zip. But it's like doing the same as above.

 

alright how do you enable spark table. is that what ms "extra" was for to also tune timing. ive gone threw all the steps in the software tread. i see that people are tunning timing. the main question is how do i enable the spark table

 

I believe you haven't set up the "codebase and output functions" settings. If you haven't selected an ignition code, there is no spark to control. Take a timeout and do some reading.

i think i have got everything figured out but spark table. when i go to tune it shows it but i cant select it

 

ohh i had htis problem before try this open MS go to the basic settings tab and click on codebased outputs and functions. then make it look like this. pic
