Default megasquirt seeing double RPM

Hey guys! I got my MS2 up and running on my 93 but Tunerstudio is showing double RPM throwing off all the maps. Everything is stock and i'm running the MSPNP base tune. I pretty much followed the write-up on turbomiata.wikidot.com
I tried two different tach input mods, one from the wiki and the one off diyautotune's site. They both do the same thing but the one from diyautotune is smoother i think.
Any help would be appreciated. I've been searching all day!

Well I tried swapping the CKP and CMP wires on the harness and nothing. Figured as much, but I had to try something! It won't fire up with em swapped. On to the next I guess...
Help please!

I had it like that and it was doing the same thing so I swapped it out to be like the instructions on the "MEAGSquirt your Miata" on the DIYAutoTune website to see if that would change anything but it didn't.

How are you confirming that they are showing double?

I'm just comparing the tach in the car to the one in tunerstudio. My AFRs are super rich too, around 10 to 1 according to my wideband and I can smell the gas. The car idles but tunerstudio shows around 1900rpm where my tach shows just below 1000rpm. It definitely doesn't sound like it's idling at 2k!
Thanks for the help everyone BTW!!!!

If the ECU thinks you are running double the rpms it will try to double the fuel to compensate.

Exactly. It also is trying to run the spark advance for double the RPMs too as well as the rest of the tables. It's wacky.

LOL yeah I thought of that. Too much work. I did "halve" the size of my injectors and that sort of fixed the AFR.

Can you get a composite log? This will show what the RPM input is doing.
