Default Megasquirt in UK

Hi,I wonder if any of you guys can help.
I have been in touch with both Megasquirt places in the UK about turbocharging my 2001 1.8vvt 6 speed sport Miata.
One just effectively says they cannot help and the other one says I need to change the alternator for an earlier one and their is no PnP megasquirt for this car.He is talking about hard wiring the ecu in.
I am quite happy to deal with companies in the States having had many good dealings from my rodding exploits,so do you guys know of somewhere rather more helpful or even a different ecu to do the job.

Speak to Dimitris / Reverant from MSLabs. He sells MegaSquirt2 & 3 based PnP ECU's for the MX5.

Import is from Greece FWIW

Did you try Phil Ringwood at extraEFI.co.uk? He can import an MSPNP Pro for you that does have alternator control.

Hi Matt, thanks for that and yes I did .He was the one that suggested changing the alternator and hardwiring so I assume he just hasn't done a later MX5 before.Nice guy.

Richyvrlimited. Thanks for that.Dimitris seems a nice guy and is very helpful. This is probably the way I shall go.

That must be a hell of a house if it stretches from Warrington to Birmingham UK!
Cheers
Phil

You could always use one of my alternator boards.

Or use an MS3 that can also control the alternator.
Or build the alternator control circuit in the prototype area....

Phil may not be familiar with the latest MSPNP Pro - it's a fairly recent addition to our lineup.
