hi, im in the middle of turboing my uk spec 1.6 mx5
ive bought this ecu from the states
MegaSquirtPNP Gen 2 MM9697 for the 1996-97 Mazda Miata, manual tranny DIYAutoTune.com

i plugged it into the cars harness but the ecu isnt powering up? i have checked al the wiring and the plugs are getting power.

since this i have spent hours on the internet trying to find out why, all i have come up with is that the pins are different, so i called a uk supplier of the megasquirt ecu for advise on which pins/wires need changing and he suggested i ask on here, so thats what im doing.

Just been informed that this ecu is for a 1.8 and I would need a mm9093

 

The pinout for the 94-97 1.6L and the 96-97 1.8L is completely different.
