Default More MS2 problems

I got my megasquirt built and in the car, but i have no tach signal, and have very weird values of coolant temp, TPS and AIT.

Even with the AIT and TPS disconnected the values were off, TPS was fluctuating and really high, AIT was 70*.

I built this just as the Wikki says to, and have checked everything over more then once.

I can not find anything wrong, any ideas on what to check ?

Disconnected sensors always give out strange values.

did you calirate the AIT CLT and or TPS?

tach is an easy fix with (1) 1K resistor.

Um I used the ms2 page from the wiki... And it's running and working fine, but I'm not proud of it this way so I plan to re do it.

it appears you are correct and I am wrong.

i didn't look at the top of the board

missing the tach on the dash? add a 1K resistor from b+ to ig- in your diagnostics box.

If you can show me the correct way to mod it I will redo it ASAP and clean it up nice like I want to.

Also with the launch control hooked to js7 do I need to build the active low circuirt like ms1 ?

really the problem is using all the ugly random wire.

I like to use 22 gauge solid copper wire and try to cut each to length.

just looks clean, easy to follow:

I agree that's much nicer and what I will make mine look like. I'm going to go buy some wire tonight. But since there the all florida miata meet Saturday and Easter is Sunday and I work till 6 tonight I don't think I'm getting to it till Monday.
