The settings should go back to what you had programmed in.

As far as not starting, are you getting spark at all? Take one of the spark plugs out, plug it back in to the wire, set it on top of the engine with the threading touching the valve cover and crank the engine over.
You should see a spark. If you do then your timing is prob. off.

Also, does it fire at all or does it just crank only?
I just tried fetching the values like you said and it doesn't change them back. I guess it's not working.

Right now it only cranks no attemp to fire at all. I'm going to check the spark right now.

I'm still new at navigating through megatune. I'm not sure where you want me to look. I'm using MSpnp base map so it's whatever that is set for the 1.6 I'm sure.

This car is making scary loud bump noises when I prime the fuel pump. It's like someone is jumping into the trunk.

Megatune shows no rpm when I try to start, or will the rpms show only when the car is running. Should it also show up when cranking?

I was messing with the tps I plugged it in then I unplugged it and the car cranked, sparked and I heard the fuel injectors come on for a split second. So I know all of it works at least.

Click "Basic settings" then "engine constraints 1".

In this window, top left, type in the required fuel numbers I gave you, for either 1.6 or 1.8. And please fill in a short description of your car, year, mods, etc in your signature. Also put your location in your profile so we know where you are.

If you use "required fuel" button, use 12.7 for your air-fuel ratio, either 1600 or 1800 for your engine size, and obviously 430 for you injector size. Make sure the correct units are selected as well.

I know, it has nothing to do with spark, I just knew your old setting was wrong.

Well, any ideas? I haven't heard anything good from DIYautotune. He told me to buy or borrow a jimstim and I realy don't feel like sinking more money into this thing. Unless someone nearby happens to have a jimstim and is willing to help out. I don't think he bothered to look at this thread.

If I could just get it to read rpm I bet it would start. There's always something with this thing.
