MS choice for N/A NA with BP4W
Seems like this is the forum with the right knowledge to sort some stuff out for me.
I have a 1992 NA which I swapped a BP4W into just recently. I'm going to start it and runt it with the standard ECU to begin with, but then I'm looking at adding a MS. I've read a few threads about what the choices would be and it seems like the MS2PNP is a good choice. Right?
On top of this, it would be neat to remove the 1.6 CAS and run the crank sensor and the tiny CAS from the BP4W instead plus I have coil on plug ignition for the BP4W from fab9 lying around that would be nice to use aswell. Moreover, E85 is very easy to get here (in Sweden) and seems like something that would be fun to try later on. Should I go for the MS2PNP for a NA6 or would there be any benefits of buying a MS3PNP instead (got no VVT, so probably not, right?)?. What changes has to be done to the harness to use the extra stuff?

After having seen and driven a MS2 car, I can say with 100% confidence I'm glad I got the MS3. Better in legitimately every way. Your EMS is one of the most important mods you'll do, don't skimp out on it.

Not sure why there is a myth that only VVT engines need a 3, but it has nothing to do with it. I see this on bacefook daily, either will control the VVT solenoid and/or VICS/VTCS. But yea, no, get the 3.

I've had all three versions on my car. MS1 was great, but MS2 was a MASSIVE step up when it comes to drivability and features. MS3 adds lots of new features for me that are "icing on the cake" Others would consider them must haves.. Also I've been able to get even better drivability on MS3.. VERY OEM like.
In short, If you're on a tight budget MS2, you'll do fine. If you can afford it, MS3. Totally worth it.
