I was wondering why my 2nd trigger input doesnt work. Car only runs in "Stim for wheel-on? I currently have a 1990 mx5 w/ greddy kit! Thanks

Have you built it yourself?

Have you purchased it off someone who builds them?

Do you have the DIY pnp?

A little more info from you will help people to help you.

Do you mean that it doesn't work on the car, or on the stim?

Hi, I built this megasquirt and here is our problem

The megasquirt was modified with the kags write up. I did the 2nd trigger input accordingly to the write up

i have it installed in a car and it runs, but it starts up shitty.

I have the "stim for wheel" setting turned on and only when its turned on is when the car runs

when i turn that setting to "off" the car does not start, just cranks over with no spark

i have no idea what i did wrong, i went over the write up many times and looked over the megasquirt with a magnifying glass. i cannot find the problem!!!!

if you follow brainecks write up and the mods on DIYAUTOTUNES site, you can just load the 90-93 basemap and tune from there. It should fire right up

While cranking, does it sputter and backfire?

Nvm, useless post.

If you're using Kags mods, but using our basemap or anything based off of it or using the same ignition settings we do, then you're ignitor is probably (definitely) toast. His mods require the Spark Output setting to be inverted (YES) while ours require it to be set to normal (NO).

might as well turn static trigger angle to 50° while you are you it....

in all honesty, I'd highly recommend removing all mods and redoing them like in my writeup.
