Default MS1 Parallel Fuel Pump Wiring

I was going to put this in my build thread but figured it might help some people over here as well. I have been reading a lot of threads on this but think I may be confusing myself on something simple.

I know I can easily run my db37 connector pin 37 fuel pump wire to the light green wire under the dash which goes to the fp relay but I'd like to avoid cutting if possible.

I have read about a cleaner way, as described in this thread: https://www.miataturbo.net/megasquir...45-w-ms-67313/
Brain describes "you'd run a wire from pin 37 on the db37 to 2O on the harness. then jump that in the AFM connector to fuel pump relay wire. (the red line in that picture I posted) that will allow the MS to activate the fuel pump."

1. Where is the position 20 wire on the harness?
2. Do I need to pull my ST_SIG Fuse? (I am confused about this because some threads say it only applies to MSPNP but I believe it also applies to me since my MS1 is so old)

Am I correct in assuming this does the same thing as splicing into the light green wire just avoids cutting?

Here is the corresponding image of the jumped wire in the AFM connector:
