Default MS2 3.57 Relay board: Ign outputs via IAC

Hey guys, hope I'm not asking a dumb question or one that has been covered before.. I have literally spent the last 5 or 6 hours reading trying to come up with a solution..

I bought a MS2 extra v3.57 , came with relay cable and relay board from DIYautotune..

I would like to retain the relay board because the relay cable is already assembled, and looking to make this a standalone. Car is a 1990 1.6, naturally aspirated.

Issue: Not enough pins on the relay board dedicated to ignition.

Using the DIYautotune guide for wiring miata wasted spark and the BIP373 Bosch ignition module guide I think I have come up with a solution for how I can run my Wasted spark through the relay board. But I have come to the experts.

Original Miata configuration as per DIYautoTune:
Spark A : PAD1 to center Q16

Spark B PAD3 to PAD15 (db15 connector)

CKP crank angle rpm: db37 pin 24

CMP : TDC db15 pin7

SOLUTION:
Spark A: PAD1 to center of Q16 (pin36-IGN)

Spark B: PAD3 to IAC2B (pin 31) as mentioned in Bosch BIP373install

CKP: pin15 on relay board: tach/ign
>>> 470ohm 1/4w resistor @ R57

CMP: IAC2A pin 9 on relayboard
>>>1k 1/4w resistor from JS10 to IAC2A, 470ohm 1/4w resistor IAC2A to +5v (pullup), 0.1uF capacitor from JS10 to SG(ground)

I hope someone can advise me, all of this schematics and information is very new to me.. My level of electronics is at wiring piggyback systems and other standalone systems, not so much in custom circuitry!

Thanks!

Hi Braineack

I recognize that the relay board is not necessary, but I think it would be easy to configure.
