I upgraded 4 hours ago. The ride is much more smoother. I love it.
It even starts quicker. (I had huge problems with starting due to noise from the cam signal) maybe it is solved.. who knows.
I will test it more and I will report.

UPDATE
Starting problems aren't solved. Still too much noise from cam signal.

How do you know? Have a scope trace to share?

I had a couple of weird problems when running on 2 injector banks in combo with alphaN. Also my CLT jumped somehow when hot. So on that vehicle (it was a motorbike) I flashed it back to 2.1.0e and had no problems after that. I posted this to the MS forum aswell. It might be in the vehicle's wiring though. Just to let you know.

the new closed loop idle PID stuff they are working on for 3.1.1 and 3.1.2 looks pretty cool/interesting, I'm going to try it out here soon after I get my turbo back from Begi.

I've tried it and it does make a huge difference (but you need to cut down on your PI by more than 50%). All my latest ECUs have this even though they report a firmware version of 3.1.0.

What do your P and I values look like after the retune?

I flashed the 3.1.2 on the car and the idle is nicely even with my old PI values, I didn't have the time to re-tune up to now...

You haz a NA idle valve...no comparison between the NA and the NB idle valve.

this is true. was just saying. I'll probably load alpha7 one of these days, but I really have no need.

I recently updated to 3.1.0. I did notice the difference in idle response with respect to PID settings. The idle seems smoother and drops much faster than before when blipping the throttle.

Edit: Any change to the sequential misfire issue?

I don't believe 3.1.0 had any changes regarding PID from before. As for the RPMs dorpping faster, maybe you installed a lightweight flywheel in between?
