Ummmm, no.

Although I do have a lightweight flywheel, the RPM drop change was as if the idle control duty % was reduced. The idle hang is less than before.

it could be the addition of the idle shift code, where it keeps the idle valve closed above a certain rpm.

I have the same problem with the very fast dropping relvs.

I have (and had before) a very light flywheel. But in fall last year the idle came on very nicely at the stoplights, when pressing the clutch. Now the car stalls almost every time, when I press the clutch.

I didn't notice the "keep valve closed" option before - could it be something with this...

I took a log yesterday, but after that the harddisk of my car-pc decided to take a crap...

I seriously need help with this. What other values cause the fast drop and not catching at idle. (BTW, if it stays running the idle is superb after maybe 2 seconds)

Semi-irellevant, you still get the 'dead' zone where the idle hangs 50-100rpm above or below the target and all increasing the PID values does is increase the propensity to oscillate the idle.

I can't wait to try this revised code out.

Incidentally have you added it to your modified MSII code? and If so can I try it? I want the lockout when the car is in neutral and the clutch is engaged specifically!
