Default MS3+MS3x, 99-00 loosing sync at 4500rpm - SOLVED!

Hi guys,

I finally got the time to take a first ride with the newly installed MS3 and after my timing belt desaster...

The car runs pretty nice - but I am losing sync at ~4.500rpm. Composite log shows loss of the cam signal...

Is there a way to adjust the Cam sensor? Or do I have the pots inside the MS set wrong?

Please help!

I'd start by spelling "LOSING" correctly.

- sorry, couldn't help myself, it's my #1 "pet peeve" on the net.

you're losing the cam signal. It could be the pots, are it could be that you physically need to position the sensor better.

O.K. lets talk in German from this point on, so I can show you your faults...

Found it - was the setting of R11 on the MS3X - readjusted it now the car pulls to redline.

I didn't notice that you weren't located in the US.

Native English speakers make this error way too often, just look around on this forum and you'll find plenty of offenders who DO speak English as their native language; you can even find examples in printed media which REALLY annoys me.

I wasn't having a go at you specifically and admire anyone who speaks more than one language (as an English-as-a-second-language speaker, you're probably better educated in the use of English than most native speakers and our schools seem to have given up on teaching spelling and grammar).

PS: AT least they have the "Loser" icon spelled right :P
