Default ms3x CAS Sync issues. No Start

Okay so ive been building my ms3x with full sequential for a while. Finally got the car back together and Im running into an issue with getting it to sync and let me start the car. Heres the original thread on CR that ive been working off of.

http://clubroadster.net/vb_forum/sho...t=41736&page=7

Im running the Cam in at the expander board. For the main board im running the crank input through an opto circuit.

Ive been stuck on this for a while and played around with the settings quite a few times to no avail. Im thinking its either im a retard and my base map is totally off or my wiring on the board is FUBAR. I also was doing some browsing and thinking maybe Id have better luck if I changed to a VR input for the crank.

If anyone has a solution for me, Id be much obliged. Also heres what im running for a base map that I got from Brain. I dont remember what my rising edge/falling edge was set to when I uploaded it, but Ive tried them in quite a few configurations.

The car is a 1990 running the 1.6, full standalone, and full sequential on toyota Cops. For a detailed description of my build, you can reference the thread at the top on CR.

Again thanks alot. Hopefully I can get this figured out soon and finally drive my hunk of ----.

Try running the CKP signal in through the VR conditioner, as shown in the MS3 build manual (VR + pullup).

Converted it over to vr yesterday. Attempted to start it and now I have no ckp signal. So even worse then before. Here's the new main board. Any ideas?

did you turn the pots correctly?

d) With a small screwdriver, turn the pots, R52 and R56, about 12 turns to the fully anticlockwise position (you may feel a "click" when the end position is reached, they can't be damaged by turning too far.) and then turn R56 back about 6 turns clockwise.

Took it apart today and re adjusted the pots as well as added some grounds and changed the pull up resistor on the vr. Plugged it up and she fired right up. Thanks a lot

To be honest I scared the ---- out of myself when it started. Deffinatly did not expect it to start.
