I've heard that. Glad you're running.

No issues with loss of sync on mine. Did have to swap the coils as well. started right up in 20*F weather.

Cool, same here, starts like a champ

Any theories on why the coils needed to be swopped?

I'm currently trying to get sequential going now. Got the 4 channel card populated and the MS1 clock circuit removed, but the signals coming from it on the bench just look wrong.

Might have to backtrack and stay with batch-fire seeing as it's back to work tomorrow :(

Heh Got sequential going now, was a piece of **** in the end.

Always worth checking everything is plugged in before returning to the bench to faultfind...

No idear, on both maps D14 is set as Spark A. Simple fix, glad you figured it out, cuase it could have been one of those things that you troubleshoot for days until it dawns on you.

I was worried about mine starting because I didn't scale down the DIYPNP base map's REQ_FUEL value correctly, but simply plugged in my req_fuel value and fuel map from msI. Since the cranking table is now a % scale I figured it would need a little altering since I dropped the req_fuel number by more than 50%. But if it's starting okay when its 24*F out, I think it'll be fine once it's warmer.

It was a bitch getting my CPU out this time, I guess my car leaks a little and my insulation was completely frozen to the kick panel covering the ecu.

@Brain - how do your cranking values look like now?

I suppose you are still running your 460cc.

Thanks..

the same values that the 1.8L diypnp map had. I used that as a base and tweaked it for my fuel map and settings and crap. I didn't get a chance to get my trigger settings in sync, I was outside all day in 20* weather and by the time I got to touching my car I was done with the cold. I probably wont touch it again until Feb when I need to fit a cat and pass emissions. I also didn't have clutch and fan hooked up cause i couldn't remember where they were on my harness, so now i have a chance to swap the spark outputs on the board and finish it up. but i drove it around the block anyways and it felt smooth, lacked power as im sure it was majorly retarded, and had no dropout.

I'm also running 2.1.1b if that makes any difference.

I've ended up using the DIYPNP values, they're a lot more on the ball compared to the MSPnP values.

The latter needed a fair bit of work on my setup, but the former startes the car easily at 0 DegC

Be interested to see peoples PID Idle settings, if indeed they have any

Also is there an option to batch fire on cranking to speed up starts?
