Question mspnp install need help!!

well guys sorry to bother but just purchased this unit from a forum member. The current set up that I have bought was a greddy turbo kit wit fmic. I had purchased his 550cc injectors and the megasquirt. I pretty much followed the instruction on the site on how to install but my current problem is the car idles fine but when I accelerate the vehicle would stall it seems like it flooding up the system. I don't know what to do. Can you guys help me in informing how to make my car run. I was planning to take the vehicle to charch garage and have them install it and I know it will cost allot but if you guys have any suggestions iam open for one .. Thanks

Disable Acceleration enrichment in the wizard. Set the kpa threshold to 300.
Did you set the correct req fuel value? Should be around 6-7 with those injectors i believe.

Unhappy

well the guy that i had bought the unit from stated that all I need to do was to plug and play. But did not play around with any adjustment. So are you saying that I should plug it to my laptop and play with the program? Sorry this is my first time dealing with this unit I heard so many good things about it and iam just scared that I don't want to screw it up...

It might plug in, but you still have to tune

Yeah. Maybe DIY should change the name to "plug-n-playwiththecomputer" so nobody gets confused.

I would not use the map that is on the MS right now. It might have been plug and play for the guy you got it from depending on his setup. I would read the instructions in the link provided above by Ben, then start with a base map, and set you the correct req fuel value for the injectors. Did you also install the injectors already or just the MS? I would start fresh then tune it. My car is bone stock except for the 460cc injectors and MS. I did the plug part which was easy, but the playing part never really ends. So now start playing, it will take some time to ge it tuned right, but with the base map I was up and running. Oh and try and use the Megalog viewer. It has worked pretty well.

give me a break. maybe someone should grow a brain in the void that is their head.....

anyone who expects a full standalone ecu to run perfectly out of the box, especially on a setup that isn't close to stock needs to come back down to earth....

maybe someone should change their user name from jasonrobo02 to ienjoythecompanyoflittlechildren

Damn Brain. I wasn't trying to bag on DIY. I was trying to make the same point that others have in the thread that a standalone ecu needs to be tuned for each car once installed. Now you've hurt my feelings and I'm going to go cry in the corner of my room.

yes I did.. Well I have a question for you guys .. If the mspnp is broken would your car still idle? I mean my car starts but it would not move it feels like it flooded in fuel. I also played with the fuel ratio ad still having issue... I guess its not meant to be

Did you set the req fuel for your injectors?
Have you read the manual at all? Seriously, like even the first paragraph?
