Default My AEM is flaking out...

I've had issues with a misfire at idle and intermittently while in boost.

I've also seen bouncing readings on my AEM UEGO. It will bounce from lean to rich without a change in engine load or throttle position.

I swapped the grounding location to the spot near the CAS where the ECU grounds, and this didn't change anything. I don't see anything else wrong.

When I forced megasquirt to go open loop by setting the kpa to go open loop to 1, the misfires completely went away.

Any ideas on what to do next to debug this puppy?

My car has all the same problems. I always figured they're unrelated to each other.

The interesting thing is if I force megasquirt to run open loop, it actually runs sweet.
I think the AEM is hosed somehow. I don't think it's grounding now.

I guess I'll have to wait on hold with them for a while and see what they come up with.

Ok -
Update for the search engine:

This appears to be a multi-part problem. Part one is that I was getting MAP waves or pulsing, and MS was kicking into Accel / Decell enrichment modes to compensate, causing swinging AFR's.

Moving my MAP line from the port at the throttle valve to the fpr improved the situation but did not fix it.

I need to pick up a fuel filter to further isolate the noise.
I still have some bouncing in the AFR at lower RPM's. I think I may also still have a power issue.

It's never easy, is it?
