Default NA IAC vs NB IAC

I'm looking at getting a skunk2 throttle body for my car and there is an option between the NA8 vs NB configuration. As I'm running a megasquirt (car is a 95) I should be able to use either. I assume there isn't much meaningful difference on the TPS between them (I know the wiring is different but they both seem to have plenty enough resolution) but I'm wondering if the NB IAC is an improvement over the NA8's. I've read that there is a difference in the PWM frequency for them but I don't know if that equates to better or faster control over the valves actions.

Does anyone have any information on this? I've done alot of searching and so far haven't found any real discussions on NA vs NB from a performance/tunability perspective. It seems the IAC is only a consideration when people want to switch throttle bodies for some other reason.

If you have the choice, use the NB. It does not need a vacuum hose for the idle and makes things easier in the engine bay.

Who says you don't need a hose to make the NB IAC work?

Kidding aside, the NB IAC is basically a Ford part. I'd bet you'd be able to use one from a mid 90's Grand Marquis or countless other cars of the same vintage. So that's a good thing in case you ever need to source a good used one at the junk yard. The other thing is the NB TPS is your typical three wire device unlike the contraption on the NA8 which has five wires or something. So another vote for the NB.
