i was in my daily driver the other day. stopped to get gas. the attendant asks me if it's a monster miata. dumbass asked because it's striped. I tell him no, it's basically stock as far as the motor goes but i have another at home that makes over 300 to the crank. he then starts telling me about his Monster Miata with a chevy big block. Now to look at this guy you can tell he would never be found in anything other than a domestic and certainly not something as gay as a miata. he continues to blather on about the car. then he says its got 900hp to the wheels! Next he says its a 6 second car! Then he says its street legal! Then he says it's a 99! I left there knowing my daily driver is most likely faster than anything he drives (except maybe his Harley).

what the hell yeah i need to brag about my cars to my friends

You would get more help if you were mature enough to realize that basic grammar rules go a long way. Nobody here has to help you. You wanna show your *** and refuse to follow basic grammar rules you learned in elementary school then do so. Others see that and decide on there own your not worth helping. Hmm, could that be possible?

There's a difference between being "nuts" and being "retarded."

The Miata isn't a good chassis for that kind of power. It just isn't. It's narrow and has a short wheelbase.

1. Start capitalizing **** or STFU

2. The MS will handle as much power as your turbo can make

3. We talk **** because the questions you ask make you look like an idiot

Well, supersaiyan93 kinda summed it up pretty well. Putting that kind of HP into a Miata, there's really just nothing for it but to be a braggart.

Truth be told, I threw the "350-400" number out there as something of a joke. While likely achievable, it's a bit like kissing your sister; You can do it, but why would you want to? The MX-5 is a small, narrow, lightweight car which, in factory trim, put a mere 95 HP or so to the ground- To say nothing of the limitations as to how much tire can be wedged beneath its svelte bodywork. Those of us who are running around with 200+ HP on tap are already somewhat on the "radical" end of things, having doubled and then some the power of the engine.

To build a Miata engine which will produce 300 HP, and do so reliably, is not a small undertaking. And to extract 400+ HP from that engine, a quadrupling of its original output, even less so. That the engine would not demolish itself in short order is cause for considerable expense in the preparation of the bottom end, and the head also. And with such a large turbocharger as would be required, a GT3071 perhaps, or more, that would be the system nearly useless on the street. Even that all these conditions are met might the life of such an engine be brief, though not so brief as the transmission.

I don't know anything about you. Your level of mechanical ability, what cars you've built and driven in the past, your budget, or your level of sophistication. I cannot however debate the observations of my colleagues that those who conduct public discourse in a certain manner, lacking refinement or care, tend often to comport their own affairs likewise.

"No, I give people a hard time when they deliberately FAIL to use an form of grammar or ask a question that is elementary, or in his case all of the for mentioned. This ain't miata.net, we don't spoon feed everybody that can't do ANY research on their own."

To Patsmx5,
Don't worry about grammer and complain about others. Read you own own grammer first before you start pointing fingers. If you can't help then I suggest you keep your mouth shut please. Take a look at the above sentence you wrote, "This ain't miata.net". Well which dictionary did you get the word "ain't" from??? Is that how good your grammer is?? Next time before you try to **** on someone for grammer make sure you do your homework. Please don't make me go through all your post's and start correcting you. And no one said you have to respond to each and every post. If you don't like it don't bother.

KISS MY ***

Your reading between the lines. I said I wasn't gonna be a dick about every little detail, and said my self I'm not perfect. I said I hate people that Fail to try to use grammar, not those that fall short of perfect. Damn. He could use capital letters to begin his sentences. Not that hard, and would help to separate his thoughts. Capital letter to begin them and periods to end them is not too much to ask, this is elementary. It would go a long way and require minimal effort. I mean come on, you know he's putting more effort to intentionally not use it then he would to just use it.

If I was a grammar **** I'd tear apart your 20+errors in the above quote where you attempted to correct me, but that's not me, nor is it why I initially told him to pay attention to grammar. Jeezus, you guys are ******* lazy *** kids that can't hit a shift key, but will write paragraphs defending yourself. Grow up. I didn't search through someone else's post looking for ONE or TWO errors to call them out on. The OP asked a question and I had to reread his post 3 times to understand where one thought stopped and another began.

I tried to help him, reread my post, there IS useful info in them about ECU and MS. I'm from the South, 'am not' is abbreviated ain't. Oh, and IIRC, 'ain't' is in Webster's dictionary. I'll leave that up to you to check though.

Dearest zarish,

There is a difference between making a simple spelling mistake or 2 and writing a giant run on sentence that is hard to comprehend because the OP is too lazy or inconsiderate to form proper sentences to the best of his ability. We all know we aren't in english class but we do come here for enjoyment, education, and to offer advice. Reading posts like the OP's makes it more of a chore to participate and many of us are turned off from helping such people.

Is post's possessive or a contraction for "post is"?

Couldn't help it. Back to observation.

Will do....

Ok, that's being ---- and I would never do that to someone asking for help. However, you're special. I felt it was appropriate seeing how you were so clever as to point out my [SIC] "grammer" errors. You could start by learning how to spell grammar before you go correcting mine.

@Patsmx5

Dude you need to get a life!! You were just complaining how I picked out your errors then here you are reading through my post for errors. You just contradicted yourself by doing so. You have no life man, you need to get laid or find something better to do with your life than sit here and complain about peoples spelling and comas. You are one sorry guy. Like I said if you don’t like what you read or don’t care to help then you don’t have to post anything at all. Like you said no one has to help anyone here. I say you find something else to do with your time. You think of us as kids?? What are you 55?? You can go through my posts anytime you like and say whatever you’re sorry *** wants to, because I really don't care what you say. Didn't your mother ever tell you if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t its better to just keep quiet. Take my advice and keep your mouth shut please. I really don’t care if anyone here makes errors when they write. If they do then try to make out what they are saying that’s good enough. You do realize that everyone does not speak English or it may not be their native language. At least be sensitive so others feelings. You can correct them, but you don’t have to be so rude. And I am not just complaining about what you wrote in this thread. You do this all the time. You are starting to sound like you are having your period. Now you can bitch all you want. You might get to others but to me you are the kid. Grow up man.

Try to stick to the topic of the thread and what is being asked. If you don't like it start your own forum about English 101.

Man there are some newbs here with 200 posts in a week. I don't think you want to make the number of post the qualifying factor. Number of post doesn't mean anything. I see and read stuff here that I might not like either, but before I try to just rip on someone or write some trash I stop. I don't think being rude and ripping on someone is the way to correct their mistake. I am sure things can be said in a different manner too. I just don't understand why we have to treat them like ****. Probably half of Pats posts are just talking **** to someone. I am not sure how that is helpful.
