In all seriousness, what is your intended application for this vehicle? If it is anything other than a pure dragstrip-only queen (or maybe a Bonneville Flats runner) then I'm sorry, but you're nuts.

i don't think there's anything overly crazy about the desire to have a street driven miata north of 400 wheel horse... sure it would be a handful and border on undriveable at times, but i don't think that should steer anyone away from shooting for it. :-)

How many people does Pat need to talk for him? He couldn't talk anymore so his buddies are here to help him as usual. Grow up idiots. You guys got a gay gang going or what?

Now that this thread is completely hijacked, I just received this little grammatical catastrophe from an actual business owner. Or maybe it was just the owner's in-house email-monkey. Either way, a lie I suspect it to be.

While we were processing your shipment of UEGO .. got msg from AEM on recall
the batch we have in stock. We will have a new batch next week and can ship
your item. Let us know if that is ok, or if you want your money back.Thaks
for you to understanding and sorry for this. If you take your money back do
not buy any UEGO next one week from anywhere becasue of the recalled items
still out there.

I'm fairly confident he's trying to tell me the delivery of the product which I ordered is going to be postponed due to a recall from the manufacturer. And he's strongly advising that I do not take him up on his refund offer because I'll end up with a defective unit. The most intriguing part to his testimony is he discovered this recall, coincidentally, right at the same time he was processing my order for shipment. I'll keep the vendor anonymous until I know for sure that he is the suck.

Anyone heard of an AEM UEGO recall as of late?

Why is it people think every plural noun needs an apostrophe? Did public schools drop English as some sort of budget-cutting measure?

Yes, this is sound advice. Which begs: how do we find reliable ppls? Seems like almost all of the Ebay rice suppliers are ******* hacks. Of the seemingly few vendors that aren't hacks, most charge much higher prices. I guess running a business properly is an expensive affair. After reading Brain's turbo rebuild fiasco, I seem to keep running into this type of merchant. ESL is one thing but bad business is a colossal waste of time.

I suppose you ought at least to tell us whether the supplier with whom you've had this questionable dealing is one who advertises reasonably-priced AEM UEGOs on this forum, and if not, why you decided to roll the dice with a fly-by-nite operator rather than an established patron.

No, they're not a mt.net sponsor (looking at ground, embarrassed). I decided, rather unintentionally, to "roll the dice" as a result of my innate drive to save; their price was very low. I've learned, once again, that cost and price are not at all the same. Once my returned funds post, I'll go with a sponsor. Shoulda, woulda, coulda.
