heres a new data log where i adjusted tps calibration so that it would stay in the negative most the time. 2012-01-21_14.25.19.msl considering the tps input is grounded shouldnt it just stay at 0%? could it be that the connections on the MS connector are so close that electrons are jumping from one pin to the next causing my tps and maybe other signals to read values that arent quite right? i never did like the fact that there is no insulation around the wires were its soldered to the connecter for the MS. though they did insulate the solder joints on the other side were ther car harness is plugged in.

Sorry for redeeming an old thread but I hate dead end threads. I delt with the issue at first by compensating with the setting. I was able to get it to run descent. The last couple of weeks I noticed I was getting horrible gas mileage so I went ahead and replaced the map sensor, and it runs great now. So if your having problems with over run setting not cutting fuel and you notice spikes to 100kpa even after adjusting kpa factor files. Just replace your map sensor and enjoy life instead of dealing with the headache like me.
