Default Nood needs help with megasquirt

So I just dropped in my new motor with 84mm pistons, 99 head, 94 block, ati damper, 36-2 trigger wheel, ls2 truck coils, aem xseries wideband, and megasquirt pnp2. everything was going great until I got to the tunning part, I have no idea how to do any of it, I've been watching hours of videos from car passion, DIY autotune, and other megasquirt users, but I just cant seem to get the car started can anyone please help me out? Or does anyone know a reliable person(s) in Las Vegas that can help me?

Post a tune and a log of cranking and one of the gurus will be able to help you out more.

The log shows no rpm. The megasquirt doesn't know the engine is turning.

A composite log would probably be the next step.

Could not see anything in your composite log file except a title.

FPR?, as in no fuel pressure? Don't really know, just don't want you to feel too alone.

EDIT: Try again on composite log. No Sync would still mean no fuel.

Also, I don't know what it means to use 99 head but not the 99 CAS. Many others should, however.

I was wondering about that also. Are you running a 99 head w/ a NA VC and a CAS off the back of the cam? I'm so confused...

I have a 99 head with a 97 valve cover and 97 cas. When I get home from work I'm gonna try the composite again.

If you don't have someone knowledgeable about such things come by, try looking at VVT swap into NA thread The parts about ignition will correspond to your situation.

Ok I looked at the other thread and also references korkys book on how to do the 99-00 head swap and everything seems to be ok on my end as far as those sources of information go.
