Re-Flashed Ms pnp2 - no spark on cyls 2 and 4?
Hi Guys,
Eunos Roadster turbo 1.6
550cc rx7 injectors
walbro 255
ms pnp2 on latest firmware
MAF delete with IAT
Bit stuck on getting my car to run again after having no battery connected for 6 months and my ecu kept saying 'not synced'
I was advised to re-flash the firmware which I have now done and am getting sync again now but it it only sparking on cylinders 1 and 4. It says not synced until I stark to turn the engine over at which point it says synced.
It sounds a bit like it is trying to fire but only slightly and intermittently.
I've attached a log of me attempting to start it if someone could take a look at it for me and see if theres anything helpful?
Thanks,
Dan

I left it on the base map to begin with just to check if it started but updated the req fuel, the IAT, said it had a wideband - I assume it has the base map on after updating?
This may be the issue if not. I didn't load the previous map onto it as it was on a different firmware version and said there was a conflict. - again please let me know if I can still just load the old map on there.

I tried to load a basemap I downloaded from diyautotune but tht didn't work as there was a conflict. - I don't remember which conflict but I can get a screenshot if it happens again.
I have also changed the spark mode since to 4G63 as I noticed it was on that setting in a screenshot on the 'updating firmware' guide on diy autotune.com
Now - during cranking - it flashes 'synced' and 'not synced' and each time it sounds like it tries to fire the 'ready' light flashes on tuner studio.
Here's a new datalog.

The ecu was running when I took the car off the road but then after 6 months with no battery connected, the car wouldnt start. Did the usual checks and found that it had spark and all the plugs were wet with fuel too so figured it must be the timing. I had a look on tunerstudio and it said 'no sync' After trying to load my old map on there I emailed diyautotune who advised me to reflash the firmware via the following instructions. Megasquirt MS2/Extra Loading firmware and Upgrade Notes
I downloaded the firmware file in the link within that guide. I had to reflash it using a spare windows laptop and then when I plugged my laptop in I tried to load my old map and it said that it couldnt do it as the firmware I had just installed to the ecu was not compatible. I figured I would just download the basemap from the diyautotune website and configure the basics so I could drive the car carefully to get it mapped. So I went to load the basemap and it didnt work as it said there was a conflict again. So when reading through the guide I just noticed on the screenshot of the install guide it was on that spark setting. I assume it should go back to untimed?
Just trying to follow instructions but I don't know much about what I'm doing as I didn't expect this to happen when I tried to re-start the car. Be gentle :(
