Oochi's MS3X DIY Build

On a different topic, I need to reassure this: In step 22 of westfield's guide it says
Step 22: install a jumper from S12C to JS9. Ignore the rest of the instructions in this step
But in the megamanual, it states that:
DO NOT INSTALL THIS JUMPER FOR NON-MegaSquirt-II APPLICATIONS - IT WILL DESTROY THE PROCESSOR!!
I would think this isn't a problem since nobody has said anything about it and it is in fact in westfield's guide.

Also with the 90-93 fuel pump circuit, referring to this picture:
the 3rd lead on the transistor is connected to the same spot as that jumper that I just mentioned above. Would it be reccomended to connect both the jumper and the fuel pump circuit to that spot? And if Anyone has any other pictures of their fuel pump mod, i would appreciate seeing those. but other than that mod, there really isnt any other mods I need to worry about right? Not keeping ac

Finding a 12V source isn't rocket science.
There's several 12V points in the mainboard injector circuit: the non-banded side of D3, pin 2 on Q12, pin 2 onQ9.

The other option for the 90-93 fuel pump is so much simpler.
Just run the FP out to the AFM connector through one of the spare wires (once you remove the AFM). I use 2O. Then you'll simply jump the 2O pin, with a small bit of wire, to the pin that normally grounds the fuel pump relay.

Thanks to Jasonb, I was able to use his stim and finally got to test my mainboard. Plugged it in and turned it on. No smoke or bad smells so all seems good. I adjusted R56 and am now seeing 2.5V at r54 and pin 3 of U7.
Am I missing anything that you all can see?
Permission to add ms3 and expander card and plug her up to my laptop?
I also have to figure out how to use this stim lol
Edit: I also tested step 24 of http://www.msextra.com/doc/ms3/build_manual.html

I believe I got the ECU itself completed today. Still havent plugged it up to my laptop and tested using the stim. I am having trouble with the harness for some frustrating reason. Don't completely understand what to use with the wiring diagrams, and the whole sequential fuel/spark stuff, due to lack of mental knowledge.
Do I need to have the GM IAT sensor installed before I put megasquirt in my car?
Anyone want to throw me a bone stock 1.6 base map?
Im super tired, here are some pictures

Long time no action, but I was getting my butt kicked by school. Now that I'm done for the semester I started wiring the harness. I got a few done in the ms3 and ms3x connectors, though I am still uneasy about the sequential stuff.
Should I do both seq. fuel and spark? one or the other? The best way to wire them since they aren't in the factory harness, ect.
And idk what all the SPR1/CANH, SPR2/CANL, SPR3 ,SPR4, IAC1A and the all the other IAC stuff is?
Do I use D/log, Launch, EGO, and all that jazz?

Sequential is a benefit but maybe get it all running first before you re-wire for seq. That way you'll know it works before and can isolate any fault after if it doesn't run.
Neatest way would be to run the new wires to a separate connector, you can get a plug for the middle section of the 64 pin socket.

all the cool kids do.
fule over spark.
with wires.
nothing.
you can and even big band.

any idea what that part number is?
I guess I'm just going to try seq. fuel for now since ill be on the stock coils. but it would be a bad idea to start off seq fuel right-off-the-bat?
Since 1 wire goes to inj bank 1 and 1 wire to inj bank 2, would I have to wire 4 new wires or is there a way to wire it to bank 1 and 2 so that they would only fire 1 injector instead of both?
Also, I don't understand what the wires from d/log, launch, or ego (whatever that is) even go to

Also, could someone help me out understanding the grounding for the MS connectors? According to the diagrams, pins 14-19, 1 &2, and 7-9 are grounds. How exactly do those wire up? Do they all go to the same pin on the yellow harness connector? and same goes for the msx connector for pins 2,3,8,12,17. It would be great if someone had a picture or told me literally where these go. Also for the wideband. Do I run the ground to the ms or straight out to the engine?
