Please help me out with Log Works

Thanks. Yes that is correct but once it decides not to connect it does not seem to matter what number I choose.
Here's one scenario as far as I can remember - I get Log works to connect via the doggle and then close the Log works program and connect the Megatune cable to the same doggle and open Megatune and then it won't connect
Am I better off shutting off the lap top when I change applications or should it be able to detect a different function ?
I think that when I go from MT to LW it does not see the same port that MT was using...

Thank you all very much for your help.
While I was connected to megatune I tweaked some stuff just to seize the oportunity. In Log works I tried to adjust the range of the yellow wire output so that my cheap A/F gauge would read correctly. I did not figure out how to do it however so I'll try to read up in the LC-1 forum.
If/when I have the car dyno tuned it will be expensive and embarrasing to have issues with the tuning lap top. I'm looking into a used lap top at my local geek shop since my DEll Inspiron is slooooow. Hopefully some of these quirks will go away. That however is a story for another day
