...because I'm a lazy ******* and mine still aren't perfect. Be sure to say what injector size you're running.

Mine aren't really tuned but they feel good. I used the v/s for the 96/97 MSPNP and then cut down the m/s till it worked well enough. My threshold is too low as well.

I still dont know how to tune AE enrichments. I dont know what the threshold is, i dont know what V/S is either. I did what Cjernigan did to get mine working. Id post a pic but the laptop is in the car.

V/S is the changed in voltage per second.

I'm guessing the threshold is a limit so that when the accelerator is moved slower than the set rate of x volts a second no extra fuel is injected.

Yes, this is one area of tuning that I am still in the dark about, even after reading the manual. If someone could break it down for me on what exactly to change and what each thing does, it would be greatly appreciated. I used the 94/95 PNP settings on my 97, they worked pretty well, only when is the engine cold where the engine hesitates a tad when I hit the throttle, but once warm, everything is great.

Has anyone managed to get the V/S to change more rapidly than about 4 volts? Even stamping on my accelerator it's hard to get it up to 7 or 8 volts/second.

^ i know what you are talking about. I actually had to tune the higher values in my AE table while driving. Just randomly hit the gas to very places in pedal travel and at a variety of RPM's. Then just moved all the values up or down 2 points. Really unspecific but it worked.

I've just been for a drive and have this with my 320cc injectors....

Threshold = 1v/s

3.9v/s = 4.5ms
1.0v/s = 3.4ms

The others are all irrelevant as I cant get the throttle to move faster than 3.9v/s

These seem to work well for me

deja frigging vous guys

Do these settings affect how the sweep of the potentiomemtr shows up on the small vertical gage on the AE wizard screen ????

The VTPS is installed and I can see it move mechanically.

I go to the calibration screen and acquire the values with the throttle open and closed etc. Also swap one of the dashboard gages and it shows the full sweep of the potentiometer but when I go to the AE wizard screen the little vertical gage only shows part movement as does the logs ( ? )

It's also nice to be able to use different acceleration enrichment strategies in different RPM ranges. Not all boxes can do this though. It helps response.

I'd love to tell you but I can't since I just updated tuner studio to 0.999.9 and can't open any projects.

We don't need them with MS, they can be tuned just fine with what we have. Now you can sugggest that we should ditch Ms and use M&M or McLaren EFI.

Is the MS unable to tune acceleration enrichment per RPM besides other inputs?

What do you mean by just fine - have you compared to tunes that also utilize RPM as a factor?
