Yes. You will also need to run a rising rate FPR to increase fuel input.

Seriously though, MS is a complete standalone that controls every aspect of your motor. Search harder next time.

the reason I asked is because on MegaSquirt - Electronic Fuel Injection Computer by Bowling and Grippo ©2010 it says:

b. Will you be controlling ignition timing?

If NO, then MegaSquirt-I™ will most likely suffice. If YES, then an MS-II® or MicroSquirt® (or MS-II Sequencer®) is your best option for controlling spark advance

MS-I is used by about 95% of the MS owners here.

While I have you here, I saw the thread about getting A/c working on a standalone MS, but can A/c work with the stock ecu still involved(I think I read something about it)? I live in Houston a/c is not optional.

a/c working on a standalone is not an issue, it's a few wires connected on the harness. then tuning your idle valve is key.

I'm amazed at the restraint in this thread. And today in general. Everybody must be in a good mood.

Ventrilo for the win.

Teamspeak is horrible, vent on the other hand doesnt sound like you're talking through paper cups and a string.

I just scream like a girl and talk to my cats when I'm using my mic, and just generally annoying, so it's not worth it to me to bother with ventrilo or teamspeak.

I must be getting old, I still find HL2, FC2 and MW/MW2 (single player) far more entertaining than any multiplayer I've played...
