Any ideas on why my knocksense is reporting a knock under unlikely knock conditions? These seem to happen sporadically but I cant seem to get rid of them.

Heres a pic of such a knock event. (Knocks at 8.5psi, 11.4 AFR, 10* , 5200RPM)



And like 1min later I try to recreate it. No Knock.




My MSQ is attached.

BTW this is with meth being injected at > 4psi, and a 2.5" exhaust with no cat.

Any ideas/comments welcome!

 

Well its obvius you have a false positive serius man 10 degrees of timming lol bump that thing up to 22 or so and it will feel better knock sensors are pretty damn inacurate, esp as loud as our motors are its better to build a set of det cans etc.

 

I thought Knock sense was like that, my impression is that it'll pick up weird noises all the time idk, I'm ignorant.....

 

Hmm, I'll have to check that out then. Its been pretty accurate so far, going off when I actually hear knock. Maybe I have it just a little too sensitive.
