Req Fuel settings 2020 discussion, updated info for newer MS?
I did not want to bump a thread from 2014, but was looking at this https://www.miataturbo.net/megasquir...ettings-31877/
My question with this, is I attempted to do hornetballs method in post 18 to re-scale the fuel map to allow it to use all of the numbers, so you have a much wider range, and more precise fueling.
Issue I am having now, is prior, the highest value on the megasquirt at the time ( am guessing MS2 ) was 255, with my MS3, the highest value is 400 on the fuel table
Previously, my lowest value was 68.4, and highest was 90.8 with a spread of 23
The lowest value I have is now 169, and highest is 222, with a spread of 53
I am using "include AFRtarget", which I thought I remember reading that it makes a "flatter" fuel map, but I cannot remember where I read that, so I cannot confirm it.
Should I re-scale it using the instructions on that other post but instead of using the value of 200 to get it close to the max of 255 that MS used, use something closer to the 400 I have available to allow the fuel map to be more precise?

You already have an order of magnitude more precision by virtue of the decimal point.
90.8 to 90.9 is all the resolution you could possibly need. And that is after getting the other contributors, such as MAT Corrections perfect.
The above would, for example, change AFR from 11.50 to 11.49.
