Default Tuned N/A spark map for boost?

Hello,

I was tuned last year N/A in about the same config I am at now, besides the big blowy thing. Im curious if Im even sort of safe running the same spark map until Im able get the car on a dyno for some load based tuning.

The car pulls great lower down but seems to run out of steam past like 5.5/6k. Thats kinda what brought me here.

I let the ecu know what injectors I had and corrected the dead times as well.

2002 NB
1.8 vvt
2860 making 10# on IWG
Flat top mani
640cc injectors
190lph walbro
3"dp to 2.5" exhaust

Pic 1 is the tuned N/A config
Pic 2 Is what DIY provides as a base map.

I guess for bonus, please let me know if this AFR map is super broken as well plz.
I can learn enough to mess with that a bit but spark map, Im completely new to.

Your "tuned n/a" map is pretty conservative in boost, 10° timing at 10psi is kinda low no matter what fuel you are on. You run a little too rich in boost (and the transition is not smooth), the combination of these things is robbing some power up top.

What fuel are you running?

The DIY map is hot in boost and the map scaling is horrible, aswell as the afr table, its very rich.

If you want some properly scaled maps for spark and afr, you should take a look at brains base maps on trubokitty, way way better than what you got there

Im running 91-93 pump.

Sorry for the late reply, other life things were taking precedence. I updated my spark map with the Trubokitty spark map values and Ill tune fuel from there.

Thank you for the info!

I can only tell you what not to use. Don’t use DIY spark map.
