Default Rev Limiter/Launch Control Settings

So. I want to spit flames. Let's get that out of the way.

I've had spark cut set at anywhere from 5000-6200RPM with overrun fuel cut off, and still can't get a single pop out of it. I'm running a test pipe and catback exhaust.

Are there specific setting that give more backfires? Do I have to dive into the ignition tables? Any advice would be much appreciated!

pull more ignition timing until you get desirable flame length. I'd probably stop once flames shoot out the side of your block though.

For launch control settings:
-5° timing
Spark cut only
And set anywhere above 3k RPM or so should result in flames and gunshots, YRMV.

For pop and burble on decell, you need to set your lowest spark row to negitive values, disable overrun fuel cut, and adjust your lowest VE values to "optimize" your hotboi bangs.

For rev limit... Just don't. It's not worth it to stress your engine going from full power to maximum EGT's like that.

I see you're from ATL too!
Thanks for the input. Just to be clear, negative values on low KPA on the ignition table won't be harmful?

Yeah, I'm over on the east side.
Your lowest Kpa row needs to be 20Kpa or lower, otherwise your asking for negative timing while on throttle. You want only to hit the negative values while in coast/deep vacuum with the throttle completely closed.
You need to do your own research on what you consider "harmful". Setting ignition timing after TDC generates enormous loads of cylinder pressure and extreamly high EGT's, among other things.
If you want me to say "you will probably be fine running negative timing in vacuum", I can't do that, but I also can't say "your motor will blow up from using negative timing". It adds stress to the motor. Weather the motor is up to dealing with that additional stress is up to you to decide.

This is my spark table/launch control settings. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. These settings may or may not cause damage to your motor. Again, do you research and see what level of risk your willing to accept and don't be surprised if your rods go skyhigh one day after sitting on the two step for 30 seconds straight.
