Default Running on 2 cyl under 40F COPS

Okay I searched and some other members are having this same problem. The car fires right up and runs on 2 cylinders. anytime its under 40F outside. once it warms up it runs perfect again. if its 45F outside no problems. what makes it not spark under 40F no one else's thread had a solution? It never did this before the COPS conversion.?

I'm sure its running on 2, its full lean and pure gas is pouring out the exhaust. I don't get it? being 45F is 100% different

I'm gonna bet on fouling plugs. What are your cranking settings? I foul plugs and start on 2 cyls atleast once every 2 weeks, could be more often than that. Started happening with my 550s. Since doing Joe's spark out mod, its better, but not 100% solved.

Keep in mind that fuel atomizes better in cold weather as well. This could also be what is leading to your fouled plugs.

I have find out that the problem was the coils. Perhaps b/c of the different dwell, if one of the coils does not fire (which means two of them are not firing since it's not a true sequential COP). The cold somehow effect the ignitor in the toyota COP. I dropped in some new coils and that fixed the problem.
