Got some rx8 yellow injectors, in tuner studio settings are 420cc and ,8 deadtime. I tried searching the fourms but couldnt find a deadtime curve for the injectors with the new tuner studio interface. If anyone has a accurate dead time curve graph with points that they could share that would be awesome, Will include screenshot of the window i am talking about.

 

I can't remember where I got my information but it was an aggregate from many sources. I notice now that a number of my original sources no longer provide the images I used to derive my curves.
In any event, this is what I ended up with for my 2005 MSM with FM LE and RX8 Yellow Top injectors.

1) Dead Time


2) RX8 Yellow Top - Small Pulsewidths
Note: I discovered that i was going full lean at times when I was just under the pulse widths at idle, which I couldn't solve with adjusting the dead times; this caused some lean conditions and RPM drops when exiting and re-entering idle quickly. I reduced this impact by playing around with the small pulse width mapping feature. This helped quite a bit but did not totally eliminate all of the idle RPM drops/lean conditions. I didn't get these, now infrequent, RPM drops and lean conditions totally under control until I got to implementing EAE (which took many, many months to tune).
