Hi folks,

in preparation of my Megasquirt parallel install into my
1999 NB (but the rare - only in Europe available 1,6l, I suppose I will be the first - but most of the NB 1,9 things apply anyway)
I already had some extended reading through all the How to's etc.

I downloaded the software from diyautotune.com - Megatune ver. 2.25p3.

Now my question - if I do all the things according to Braineacks description -
I run into some complete differences.

I cannot download the 029v.zip file. But the new firmware seems to be included into the Megatune install, folders named MS1Extra 029y4, MS1E HiRes 10G, etc.)

The configurator menu at MT doesn't have a "Car1" also there is no folder named "Car1".

Can someone maybe give me an update how to change the temp setting with easy therm and the next steps with this new firmware. All the other manuals etc. also seems to apply to older Megatune version.

Or am I doing something completly wrong?
I am just trying to make myself comfortable with the software and trying to understand the Megasquirt....

just download the MSPNP installer.

 

I'm sorry to ask again - but I still have to do the Easy Therm setting because I will run a GM IAT sensor and the OEM CLT sensor?

Yes if you are using anything but stock GM sensors for IAT and CLT you will need to EasyTherm your firmware.
