Still laggy to me. Try a new cable

 

I am using a radio shack USB cable to 6 pin I think. Brand new

Oh are your baud rate settings correct should be 115200

I clicked on the ms baud rate setting and it's automatically highlighted 115200

 

could it be the firmware.

on the ms title bar describes the latest version of tuner studios but says go online for firmware?

 

You need to check the baud rate on the port not in TS
Follow the directions in the link I sent

 

Grab a screenshot of the entire TS window while online. If you have enabled "CAN_COMMANDS" under Project Properties -> Settings for whatever reason, disable it.

 

im so confused right now. I have windows 8 and I don't see any port management in the device mangager so doing the above link does not give me a step by step.

as for reverant, I cant find what you want me to change on ms

someone please speak English. I am not a computer wiz. Talk to me like a normal individual not knowing where things are.

I have a asus u131a model laptop with windows 8

 

In TunerStudio, go to File -> Project -> Project Properties -> Settings.

There should be a dropdown list saying "CAN_COMMANDS". It should be set to "Deactivated".
