Default Stand alone install questions MS1

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if I have this correct please?

I want to run EBC but don't fancy drilling the case to act as a heat sink. As i'm using 420cc RX8 Yellow injectors can I do away with installing Q9 and Q12 and use one of these holes instead? Is there anything else I need to do with regards to this?

Also can anyone suggest a base map for my install? 1.8l, 420cc, intercooler with a T28 from a nissan 200sx. I will be using the "improved spark circuit" mod also.

Thanks in advance.

you can put it in the spot q9 or q12 would sit, or have it stick out of the proto area without a heatsink; it wont overheat.

ebc on the MS-I, leaves little to be desired.

Thanks, my plan was to get to know MS1 and then upgrade further down the line.

Are you suggesting that I don't bother with EBC on the MS1 and run a MBC instead? Would a simple bleed valve do the job?

Also any suggestions to what level of boost to run at for a weekend ride?

Thanks

Start at 5psi and enjoy that for as long as possible.
Don't bother with EBC and forget about MBC until you run >10psi.

Thanks I'm dying to gert this on the road. I'm hoping it will make me grin more than my 2.5 Impreza WRX wagon. Then I can sell it (the WRX).

fwiw, a 400hp wrx can just keep up with a 275rwhp miata.

Thats good as mine is "only 260bhp". Sounds like its days are numbered. Any takers?

My 1.6 car made dramatically better power with MS1's EBC compared to MBC. I'd run it.

Were you taking your MBC's signal from the nipple on the compressor?

I've just tapped my IC pipe, post IC, to take the line back to the wastegate actuator. I'll leave it stock pressure for now and then sort out whether to go MBC or EBC later.
