Default for those of you with big injectors

what are your idle settings? i can't make this thing happy.

also how do you have your acceleration wizard settings? i had to turn mine way down to 5,3,2,1 because i was getting huge stumbling on throttle onset and fireballs, now it's pretty good, i still could use a little more throttle response for easier rev matching.

I absolutely idle like stock with 460s. jumps between 14.5-15.0:1, slight misfire every now and again, but COPs should fix that.

my accel looks identical to Richard's.

my trick is getting the car warmed up and once the warmup light kicks off I start trying to tune. fuel is the most important part to getting it to idle good. Once you find your sweet spot it should purr. the cells around the cell it idles at have a big effect as well so i try to keep them all within 1%.

make sure your coolant related air-density is set to normal.

if you change your idle speed it also effects the idle quality, I like mine at 900-950.

That's interesting. Not contradicting you just throwing out some info while i'm thinking about it. My stock ECU idles when warm at 13.6-13.8 +or-.2 .

I suggest that you copy the mspnp settings as they got me real close and after a little bit of tuning I am getting a great idle, with the occasional hiccup but nothing I would even notice if my exhaust wasn't so burbuly at idle

I idle around 13.9-14.1 just fine average 950 with no lights on 900 with lights on, and 850 running AC it still stalls with AC everyonce and a while but not to horrid.

Typically batch injection setups (stock 90-93 cars, and MS setups) will idle better a bit richer, and our 91 car with stock ECU sits at 13.3-13.4:1. I've seen this on other cars with batch injection on the stock ECU as well... that's the typical rule of thumb.

Sequential will allow you to idle leaner, around stoich. That's one of the main benefits, and one way to get an emissions benefit out of it. Most stock ECU cars with sequential injection will idle closer to 14.7:1 as that's where the cats work best.

I wonder if mine idles rich because of a bad O2 sensor then, the '99 is sequential injection. The rear one is taped up under the car. The front one might be shot. No idea.
