Using AFR instead of Volts with AEM Wideband in AFR Target Table
#41
I need someone smarter than me to verify my work.
If you change the 9.72 to 10.0 and the 0.038666 to 0.039216 then the calculated AEM AFR matches the AEM documentation.
I don't know where all of these parameters need to be changed with MS so that everything will work. I am a damn MS newb and don't understand how all of the INI's and such work, but I am trying.
Help me help others with AEM widebands with mismatching readings!
Thanks.
I could probably come up with a custom number to E85 too if anyone is interested.

After looking at this more this morning I don't think this is going to cure my car. When I run the orginal numbers my gauge should read higher than the laptop, but it doesn't it is the opposite. These new numbers look like they should only make it worse.
Does anyone have a unit on a stim that could verify any of this stuff?
I did notice that the target AFR also uses these numbers in its calculation. I'm not sure how that effects things.
Also just realized that my numbers that I came up with match the Innovative 0-5 linear. Perhaps I should just try swapping settings in the setup and see how that works.

Ok stuck guage was a connector coming loose to the wideband. See my other post in the PNP section to see how not to install your AEM wideband.
All problems are now fixed via my other post. I'd double check all your wiring and do it right.

I tried this and couldn't get it to work either. I'm using a DIY MSPNP and I changed it in both files; ie the one listed in the first post, and the one under my project file for 9495 w/o maf and no luck? I'm using Vista and just saved the file elsewhere, then moved it to the right folder so I could save changes.

OLD THREAD I know but i cant seem to fix my issue i've read over this several times and cant figure it out.
I upgraded to the HI-Res 11d firmware loaded my old tune into the ecu after i flashed the ecu. only issue i'm having is that the AFR TARGET TABLE is reading values 0-5 whereas my old tune worked off of the values of 10.00-20.00
I changed the settings values as stated in post #1 and still the AFR TABLE values have not changed.
What am I doing wrong
I FOUND MY PROBLEM THIS POST CAN BE DISREGARDED.
