Wideband 02 heatsink...?
I regularly get error code 8 with my LC-1 which according to the manual is overheating...
A friend has mentioned a heatsink you can make for it.
Anyone know anything about this?
Cheers

I doubt that you need to add a heatsink, try downgrading the firmware to version 1.0. I had the same problem and it turns out that there is a bug in their firmware (that they wont admit to). I had my LC1 sensor in the stock location and it ran fine like that after updating the firmware for several months before going turbo..

I've been running the LC-1 sensor in the stock downpipe bung for over 18 months, which includes several thousand street miles and about 10 track days and it's perfectly fine. You don't need a heatsink on a stock Miata. When you start burning a LOT more fuel is when you need to worry about moving it farther downstream and/or heatsinking it. Your problem lies elsewhere.

Im SC. I actually removed my copper sink when I kept getting error 4's. In the end that was down to too much cranking. Removing it has caused no over-heat errors.
Stock location FTW without a heatsink, it's been like that for a good few thousand miles now with zero issues. Albeit the NB o2 bung is slightly more downstream that the NA.

Thanks Craigo, after a bit of play with my AFR targets it seems to have stopped giving me the error code.
Now on to the next problem :(..... https://www.miataturbo.net/forum/t43236/#post512592
