Default Yellow STi Injectors?

So it seems 550cc RX7 injectors are a little scarce. I found some 2006 STi injectors for $200. Anybody know anything about these? I know the pink ones work but I'm not familiar with the yellow ones. The seller doesn't seem to know the flow rate or impedance, much less if they'll fit.

Am I able to install the MS and leave my AFPR in place until I find injectors?

There are a bunch of different injectors that would work and leave plenty of headroom. Brain's FAQ has a good rundown.

If you did get those, you could have witchhunter or injector doctor or whoever determine the flow rate and impedance during the normal service.

Yellow are sidefeed and 545 cc. Forget about them. The pinks/ 06+ blues (565 cc) are not plug and play either. You need to modify the rail by lowering it a half inch or more. Not to mention the fact that they will spray against the injector boss in the manifold due to their smaller length.

Thanks Pipe. That looks no fun. Guess I'll continue looking for S5 RX7 turbos....

Or, you could use Probe turbo injectors which are infinitely easier to find, and set your base pressure to a higher value, say 60 psi.

Well, I'd LIKE to ditch the AFPR - I may have just found a set of RX7 550s for $100 as - is or $200 serviced and guaranteed.

Sound reasonable?

A bit high, but it may be worth it to go ahead and get them serviced and be done with it...

Well, I didn't think $100 was too bad, considering how scarce they seem to be. The guy guarantees them if he has service done by RC. I figured by the time I get them and send them to Witchhunter the difference is only about $20 and if I let the seller do it I don't risk getting a bad injector. Reasonable insurance I think.

send them to injector rehab, they are a sponsor here and give us discounts, and their women give me boner every time I go to their site...

You know most sellers will negotiate a little, my guy wanted $80+, I offered $70 shipped and he took it. Offer him $80 shipped, if he bits, you got lucky. Send to Injecotr Rehab for $50, and now you have good Injectors for $130 after a little work.
Good Luck
