I just got back from a road trip to SoCal and I got hooked up with 5 gallons of 99.9% pure methanol - FREEEE!!!

So what % of methanol to water should I mix it to?

Hey chuck, this is off your topic, but when can i get a ride in your car?? I live in mesa, work in tempe. Building a DIY, and have never rode in a FI miata :(

i would go 20% and then try 30% if that doesnt do it. then go from there. GL man.

I live in Surprise and work in Deer Valley. You should contact Tom @ FFS as he is in Chandler, Tempe, MEsa area quite often. But, anytime we can meet, you can take a drive.

My friend got me 2 5 gallon buckets filled with 2.5 gallons of methanol he said. But, after I filled each with 2 gallons of water, it was pretty close to being full. So, I think he got overzealous and filled it with 3 gallons of methanol.

After I added the water, I also added some blue WW fluid (30% methanol) just to add some color.

What is that like 60% methanol?

Since you've never driven a FIed Miata, the coldside will spoil you but good. lol
