That sucks. You should be able to get $30-40 scrap value for it, I would suspect.

True. Old junk heads are a great weld fixture for manifolds too. Keeps the head flange pretty damn straight. Cheaper & easier than paying a machinist to machine a bunch off to get a flange flat after the fact. Just trying to help you target a market

I just gave him negative feedback here on MT. Of course, that means he will probably give me negative feedback as well. Such is life.

Get on the PHONE with PayPal, show them this thread.

There's no way in hell you should be on the receiving end of this garbage.

How the ---- does Paypal know what condition the head was in before it was sent? They don't. They're just being ------- ignorant because they're Paypal.

PS: I might want the lifters.

Arghhhh! Seems like they are claiming that I did this damage somehow? What a bunch of morons!

You did provide photographic evidence of you damaging that aluminum wall on the head as well as admitted to it within this thread, Frank.

You got screwed, but that's standard (BS) Paypal policy :(.

did you use your credit card or pay through a bank transfer? if CC, you could file a dispute with them too. Not sure about it if you did a paypal direct withdrawal

Yes. Permanently. (I gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited until 7pm Pacific time, as I was not specific about the time zone in my original email to him.)

Frank'n'Beans, if you still with to pursue contacting thomas18a directly, the email address he used to register from is chunyuen.wong@laverne.edu. I've also removed his feedback to you.

The university his email was from, if it were to find out about this, would be extremely angry with him.

Based upon quick research, possibly removal from the university angry. Just a route to remember to pursue if it comes to that Frank. Scamming someone from an @*.edu email is completely retarded if you are affiliated with that organization in any way, shape, or form.

I'd say drop the email on 4chan.org/b and see what happens to him.
