Default DIYPNP for 99-00

My car was the test bed for the DIYPNP . The unit was assembled by Jerry at DIY, and includes the sequential fuel module as well as turbo control and launch control. DIY spent almost 80 hours on the dyno geting the base tune right, including 20 hours on the idle alone. My 99 ran smooth as glass all the way to 12 psi, while maintaining perfect A/F ratios. I have since sold the 99 to Rotornut, a frequent poster here (if you want, you can ask him about me, I'm pretty sure he'll vouch for me) so I no longer need this unit. I've bought a 91 and will be running the Hydra as soon as I sell a few un-needed parts. Asking $650 shipped to the lower 48 states. Includes serial cable to connect to laptops for tuning.

What's different from this one, versus the custom built one by Brain?

Here's the deal, I have told two others, PM me to get my Paypal info, first to put $550 into my account gets the PNP. Arbinshire, don't know why PM did not get to you, but that was the gist.

RC Fail.

My original question is not asking for your paypal address, rather, I'm wondering whats different from this MS to the one that Brain builds new, for less?

Read the ad. This was the first PNP. It has 90 hours of dyno time, 20 on the idle alone. It has the sequential fuel injection a $40 upgrade, It comes with a serial port to connect to a laptop, I have lowered the price to $550. I don't know what Brain has, but I doubt he has 90 hours on a dyno included in his tune. You decide. I paid $950 to DIY to have this made and tuned. This is my loss, you don't want it fine. I'll keep it to run my next car.

90 hours on a dyno? Impressive, although, I'm just not sure that dyno time will work 100% for anyone else unless they're running a near identical setup as you were.

thats what i was wondering no offense but why would your 90 hrs of dyno mean anything to anyone else besides the fact that the DIYPNP works correctly your setup wont run another persons car unless they are identical matchs?

Not to put too fine a point on it, at idle the car isn't in boost, yes there will be differences, if you think that my 14psi setup isn't closer to dialed in, buy somebody elses.

I think what the seller is trying to say is that this should work very well on any 99-00 with a turbo, with minimal tuning required. Hell at that price I'd buy it if I was in the market. Good luck with this great deal of a sale!

Has anybody seen what is involved with setting up a diypnp denso 76 pinout ecu on a 99-2000 Miata? ugh...first you have to created a complete combination direct current RC (resistor, capacitor) circuit for your voltage regulator to the NB alternator. 550 dollars for a pnp ready to go sounds like a decent deal considering no soldering or circuit making is required.

If I had a 99-00, this would already be sold. Damnit.

It's a black box with DIYPNP in white letters. Not very exciting I know, but it works nicely.
