Default Engine out of '99 10AE

I did not remove this engine, but the previous owner told me it was removed because it was not getting oil pressure. He suspected a clogged pick-up.

I have the engine sitting in the corner of the shop and have not looked at it, yet.

It has approximately 90K on it.

I will try to get it up on an engine stand and see if I can do a little exploratory surgery.

Before I do this, I will offer it up for $250. Price may go up if surgery turns up negative for damage.

Pics to come.

Well...freighting it definitely seems out of the question. FedEx - $460 for home delivery.

You can ship it way cheaper via greyhound.

ship it to the closest terminal to the buyers home, and the buyer pick it up from there. it should be cheaper than home delivery and they will help you load it onto your truck.

The cost is in sending a truck out with a lift gate! ZZ has got it right!

If there was a oil issue I'd be wary of scoring in the cam saddles.

Guys,

I apologize for not being very punctual with the requests. The time I was planning on spending looking into the motor has been occupied with work and other vehicles.

I appreciate your patience, and I will try to get to the engine (with pics) this week.
