It's a "muffler". It's kinda loud..if you like loud. Although the tone and sound is very nice, it was decided to quiet the car down a bit and let this go up for sale. Used for ???? miles. Overall good condition for an exhaust part. This is an aluminized pipe version, not stainless. The piping was painted black to help hide it under the car. The sound dampening device is a ANSA Silverline resonator (c'mon..it's not really much of a muffler). As the name implies, it's very light and is a good way to knock a few pounds off the car. I have this same exhaust, and have to say the quality and sound are great. IMO, it's not THAT loud.
