So, I have a set of Ohlins PCV coilovers that have been a complete albatross for me and I would like to get out of my life
These are Ohlins PCVs, which offer more comfort for street driving than DFVs. Spring rates are 8k/6k. These are relatively new shocks; the build date on the springs is 33rd week of 2014.
The shocks look basically brand new except for the one that's totally REKT. After getting extremely frustrated trying to find a replacement for the broken one, I've decided to cut my losses just to get them out of my storage.

If you speak Japanese I can tell you exactly where to buy a replacement, but they could absolutely not care less to help out an English-speaking Gaijin.

I figure if nothing else these have good Eibach springs, nice Ohlins bumpstops, and excellent condition spherical top mounts that might be a basis for a good project. They would even make good spares if you already have a set of PCV's.

I am looking for a small fraction of what I paid: $325 + actual shipping.
If you buy the replacement shock you'll have a set of nearly new Ohlins for the cost of VMaxx Classics (also don't tell me because I'll be furious after all the effort I went through to try and order one from Japan).

The springs are 200mm (8") tall and 65mm (2.5") ID.

They use a collar that can be drilled out to 18mm

How the hell did you destroy that one shock absorber so completely?

 

Have you tried the yahoo auctions guy on club roadster? He might be able to deal with that Japanese company for you.
