Talking FS: Quartermaster 5.5" Twin Plate Clutch w/ Tilton Flywheel - $700/trade

Are you totally sick of your car being easy to drive? Do you make a crapload of horsepower and have nowhere to put it? Car taking too long to rev up? Do you hate that STUPID transmission in your car and want to make sure you abuse it with all your horseypowers? GOOD NEWS!

This clutch has about 3-4 dyno sessions, and several trips down the drag strip on it, but it looks to have a some life left in it still. You can still get rebuild kits for these for only a couple hundred bucks. Looking for $600 + shipping for it.

It's pretty great, weighs practically nothing. Wanna trade it for some manifold work for that GT3071 I bought from you?

Funny story, I actually do. This is the drag car it used to be in, running on a FWD BP w/ an NB1 head. Built it, and then immediately got bored with drag racing so it came out and sat on a shelf for like 6 years.

I just bought a supermiata twin disc.
Send me a message through my facebook page though and we can chat about manifolds and such. im sure we can work something out even though I don't need two twindisc clutches for a Miata I don't have right now.

Actually they're not hard on synchros... they're better for them. Every time you shift, since the small disks have so little moment of inertia, the synchro has to dissipate much less kinetic energy in order to do it's job, which means much less wear.

I should note that these clutches are made for dog ring gearboxes. There kinda hard on synchros.
I appreciate your attempt at threadcrapping, but you can feel free to go attempt to be helpful somewhere else, but based on your post history I don't think that'll happen. Gave up on it after fighting with boost control, and the transmission just couldn't keep itself together (Hooray FWD and lack of affordable gear options!) There's probably more trips down the quarter mile on it than I remember, but not too many more. It's been sitting on a shelf for the better part of the last decade.
